American Childhood Cancer Organization writes on their Facebook page...
PJammin is the ACCO's signature fundraiser for schools and businesses.
Children with cancer spent months to years on treatment, and they spend a considerable amount of this time in their "PJs." Through PJammin For Kids with Cancer, or PJammin for short, children wearing their pajamas to school will be reminded about the amount of time that children with cancer must spend in their pajamas while fighting cancer.
This event has been held in schools across the country and has received incredibly positive feedback. It is based upon student and staff participation of wearing their pajamas to school for $1 per participant. Staff and students alike have said this was a fun event, with little effort to organize.
